It's been awhile...

Howdy ya'll!
Football + Fun in the Snow + Family + Friends = January
Here's a quick snapshot.

See...January and even some of February have been super busy.
Mommy started her new job and adjusted to her "new" life.
Daddy traveled a little for work and adjusted to having mommy home more.
I started back to school and enrolled in dance classes & Awana.
I really like having more time with my mommy AND my daddy...it's fun!

We had family & friends visit before and after Sundance.
We hosted a big Super Bowl party.

Now, we are looking forward to daddy's birthday...there's some sort of surprise...and Wasatch Revolution.

What's Been Going On?

I don't know about everyone else, but it's hard for me to believe we're almost half way through February 2009! It's also been a while since I've updated from Charleston-town, mainly because in between busy work weeks I've been jet-setting to the coldest places in America! So let's play catch up on what's been going on...

January Though it was bittersweet, I was able to make a spontaneous trip home to be with Papaw Graf before his surgery, and between visits was able to see most of my family, including Papaw and Mamaw Phillips! Thank you again for your continued prayers for healing and peace sent out for Papaw Graf; he is in a nice rehab facility and doing as well as can be expected.

The following week was my second ski trip! We chose the White Mountains as our destination, both for cost, smaller mountains, and nobody in the group had ever been to New Hampshire :) We skiied Friday through Sunday and toured Boston on Monday. We didn't do a great job of capturing much other than the scenery, but that was the best part anyway. Here are a couple of highlights, including a quick clip of me practicing my 'second ski trip skills'. We survived three days of skiing and everyone had a great time.

February Last weekend, I was able to cram some necessary friend time and early Valentine's celebration into one trip. It was my turn to visit Amy in Chicago, and it just so happened Matt had a work trip planned there as well, so we turned it into a weekend of 50 degree fun, (as opposed to anything below 0!). Highlights included much eating, (since we had to pack all our favorite restaurants into 2.5 days), a trip to the Art Institute, an obligatory picture in The Bean, and brunch with David Schwimmer aka 'Ross' from Friends.

Another fun trip came to an end, but it will be nice to spend some weekends at home, as the weather has been beautiful...maybe a trip to the beach is in the not-too-distant future! Here is a link to the rest of the New Hampshire pics.

You are all in my heart daily, I love and miss each of you and will touch base again sooner than later. That is, if everyone else promises to help me revive our blog!
