A little before 12pm this afternoon, after emotional ups and downs, and difficult decisions, Papaw had his leg amputated. The muscle was so deteriorated they had to go a little above his knee joint. The positive is that the infection should no longer impact his health and he will be off of antibiotics after recovery.
Thanks to all of you for keeping him and the Graf side in your thoughts and prayers. They are appreciated!

We are praying for Mr. Graf...that his heart would be comforted and calmed. Being afraid would be a very human reaction. Please know we are praying for your family as well as the doctors and nurses caring for him. God bless you all at this difficult time. We love you all so much!
